Gray’s Reef Tuesday features two ocean films
The wildly successful Gray’s Reef Tuesdays at the Tybee Post Theater only has two more weeks to go!
This week the partnership between Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary and the Post Theater features “Lost and Found,” a delightful animated film about friendship between a boy and a penguin that was nominated for over 60 awards. Also this week is “The Current” that highlights the healing power of the ocean.
Thanks to the generosity of lead sponsor, Enmarket, and media sponsor Connect Savannah, local residents and summer visitors alike have been enjoying award-winning films about the undersea world. A Gray’s Reef representative is always on hand to provide a brief overview of the national marine sanctuary and the evening’s film as well as provide an opportunity for audience Q & A following the film.
The doors open at 6:30; the program begins at 7 pm. There is a suggested donation of $5 with all proceeds benefiting the non-profit Tybee Post Theater and Gray’s Reef Foundation. There are no advance reservations or ticket sales. As always, the Post Theater concession stand will offer beer, wine, soft drinks, hot popcorn, and candy.
