Edward Pyrch ,
artist for our rendering, Ed Pyrch, a native of Ashland, OH, is an Ohio State University graduate who’s been practicing as a registered architect since 1989, dba Edward A. Pyrch Architect Inc. He’s also an accomplished artist specializing in architectural design and illustration. He and wife Kathleen moved from Upper Arlington, Ohio in November of last year and now reside on Tybee Island. John Duncan for the History of Tybee Island and the Tybee Post Theater Professor Duncan is a 12th generation Charlestonian with degrees from the College of Charleston, the University of South Carolina and a doctorate from Emory University. He taught history at Armstrong for 32 years, specializing in local history, and retired in 1997. He has written numerous articles on Savannah history, hosted television programs for the History Channel, HGTV and the Travel Channel and had a speaking role in the film "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". He is also the host on the in-house hotel channel shown in most Savannah hotels and motels. He and his wife Ginger own V & J Duncan Antique Maps, Prints and Books on the street level of their town house on Taylor Street at Monterey Square.
