Alan Robertson

Former member of Tybee Island Planning Commission. Retired senior financial executive; past chair of the National Safe Place, a not for profit agency serving at-risk youth; and board Director of Midwest Young Artists (Chicago).


Kathy Black-Dennis

Retired correctional administrator in KY; former owner of small business; former faculty member at University of Louisville; director of Standards and Professional Development for an international non-profit. Board member and volunteer at Actors Theater of Louisville.


Sallie McClelland

Owner, Savannah Accounting with an emphasis on small businesses and non-profit organizations.

Programming Chair

Emily Liebtag

A former professional dancer, Emilie has traveled the world as a Production Manager for dance companies and Tammy award winning music ensembles and has held positions with the Ojai Music Festival and the Chicago Cultural Center, in addition to freelance work. She currently owns Salt Island Salt & Beer with her husband.

Owner, Tybee Weed Wackers, Inc., Chair of the Board of Trustees, Trinity Chapel United Methodist Church.

Board Members

Shelley Ainsworth

A private practice psychotherapist, she formerly was the coordinator of the Child and Adolescent Unit at Tidelands Community Mental Health Center in Savannah.

Demery Bishop

Former director of Savannah/Chatham County Crime Stoppers, former special agent with the FBI, currently adjunct professor at Georgia Southern University.

Current chair of the Tybee Island Planning Commission and board member of the Tybee Island YMCA board of managers. Real estate developer, paddle board business owner and drummer.

William Blakey

Retired. Former CPA, served six years on Tybee’s audit committee, Tybee Island Historical Society board member.

Stephen Franklin

Former captain and pilot for UPS for 30 years, retired lieutenant colonel from the US Air Force after 23+years of service. Flew supersonic jets.

Cody Gay

Managing Partner, Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals, following a successful 20+ year career as a musician and singer.

Keith Gay

Immediate Past President of Tybee Post Theater Board of Directors, owner of TBVR; broker with Solomon Properties; Tybee Tourism Council board member.

Nate Lynch

Senior Manager of Design and Collaboration at Gulfstream Aerospace, employed since 2015. Prior to that, he worked for numerous major companies in industrial design.

Dr. Ronnie Spilton

Retired teacher and principal from Fulton County, GA where she was named Teacher of the Year three times. Ronnie has over 60 years of theater experience NY, NC and GA, both as an actor and a director. She received a Best Supporting Actress Award at OnStage Atlanta. She was named Volunteer of the Year for establishing a high school theater program in in Highlands, NC.

Patricia Miller Wann

A professional actor, writer, producer and administrator, primarily in NYC. Former president of their TI Fine Arts Commission and member of Tybee Better Hometown program. She produced King Mackerel and the Blues are Running”as a benefit for the TPT.


Evan Goetz, Executive Director

Evan Goetz is the former Artistic Director for Old Town Theatre Company in Rock Hill, SC as well as the Placemaking Coordinator for the City of Rock Hill. In Rock Hill, he created and planed more than 100 cultural events that attracted over 150,000 people and generated about $8 million in direct spending per year. He’s thrilled to continue the mission of the Tybee Post Theater! 

Jaime Whalen, Business Manager

Former office manager for Consolidated Utilities, Past president of Bull River Shoals HOA, Board of Directors, CFO Bull River Plantation

Steve Johnson, Theater Operations Manager

Served on TPT Board of Directors before becoming the TPT Operations Manager. Co-Owner of the Tybee Farmer’s Market. Retired from audio/visual production for the U.S. House of Representatives.
