Retired, former CPA with a major accounting firm, served 6 years on Tybee’s audit committee, on board of Tybee Island Historical Society
Retired senior financial executive, most recently Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales and Marketing for Northern Trust Asset Management; past Chairman of National SafePlace, a not-for-profit agency serving youth at risk throughout the country, and board Director of Midwest Young Artists, Chicago; currently member of Tybee Island Planning Commission.
Former professional dancer, Emily has traveled the world as a Production Manager for dance companies and Grammy award winning music ensembles and has held staff positions with The Ojai Music Festival and the Chicago Cultural Center in addition to her freelance work. She now resides on Tybee Island and owns Salt Island Fish & Beer with her husband.

During a career in law enforcement, he was executive director of CrimeStoppers of Savannah/Chatham County for 15 years, was a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 24 years, and is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Criminal Justice, Social and Political Science at Georgia Southern University. He currently serves as chairman of the Tybee Island Planning Commission and is on the board of the Tybee Island YMCA board of managers.
Senior Manager of Design & Collaboration at Gulfstream Aerospace, he’s worked for the Savannah-based aviation manufacturer since 2015, following user-based industrial design work for numerous major companies.
