Jason Bible & The Rights/”Anicca”
March 3 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
A gritty page-turner inspired by true events, “Anicca” offers an unflinching yet empathetic look at a group of rural Georgians battling uncertainty in an ever-changing world. The story’s pulsing heart is Aubrey and Theresa, a couple peddling pills to make ends meet while wrestling with their own demons. Through multisensory language and electric dialogue, “Anicca” explores the love and connections that permeate and transcend addiction.
Bible co-wrote the novel with Athens-based writer William Sackler. As a multimedia storytelling experience, each chapter of the book “Anicca” correlates with a song on the recorded album. Bible enlisted the help of Savannah musicians Anna Chandler, Joe Nelson, Jeremy Riddle, David Williams, and fellow Train Wrecks Stuart Harmening and Jeremy Hammons. Collectively known as The Rights, Bible’s band helps vividly tell a big story with a lot of moving parts.
The newly released album will be available at the show on vinyl and CD.
