Tybee Island Songwriters Festival/Friday night

The first annual Tybee Island Songwriters Festival features three days of performances by some of the country’s top songwriters performing songs from their collections of No. 1 hits.
The famed songwriters appearing at this second evening are Hall of Fame songwriter Byron Hill, Broken Bow Records/BMG recording artist Elvie Shane, and Fender’s “The Guitar Goddess” Hayley McLean.
Hill’s songs have been recorded more than 700 times and he has 91 certified Gold and Platinum albums and singles to his name, including “Fool Hearted Memory,” “Pickin Up Strangers,” “Nothing on but the Radio,” and “Born Country.”
Shane has performed with Toby Keith, Billy Currington, Aerosmith, Lady Antebellum, and others, and wrote the hits “My Boy,” “Sometimes,” “Sundress,” and “Tiny Towns.
A multi-instrumentalist, McLean has signed with Kobalt Music and has played guitar for Maren Morris, Buddy Guy, and Chad Brownlee and many more.
