The Tybee Post Theater is bringing the summer’s top animated blockbuster to the islands this week in an exclusive four-day run beginning Thursday.
It’s a waning days of summer treat for the whole family. You know the story line by now. Max (Louis C.K.) is a spoiled terrier who enjoys a comfortable life in a New York building until his owner adopts Duke, a giant and unruly canine. During their walk outside, they encounter a group of ferocious alley cats and wind up in a truck that’s bound for the pound. Luckily, a rebellious bunny named Snowball swoops in to save the doggy duo from captivity. In exchange, Snowball demands that Max and Duke join his gang of abandoned pets on a mission to take revenge against the humans who’ve done them wrong.
The film is screening Thursday, Aug. 4 through Saturday, Aug. 6 at 3 pm and 7 pm. It’s final showing is Sunday, Aug. 7, at 3 pm only.
Tickets $7 adults, $5 children 12 and under. The concession stand serves $2 popcorn and $2 soft drinks! Affordable fun for everyone!
